The International Cultural Night event will be held at Upper Iowa University’s Fayette campus on April 5^th, 2012 in the Student Center, Ballroom B. This event is meant to create cultural awareness, allow for cultural learning, and provide the opportunity to interact with people from all around the world to first handedly see their culture.

The two words, “Dress Code” invoke restrictions of freedom of expression. When this is restricted controversy is created. Some students and parents may protest against the decisions made by high schools that give unwritten or written rules of what or what not to wear to school, with the belief that the dress code is taking away their children’s individuality. On the other hand, others may think that having a dress code is the solution to decrease violence and competition and will create a safer educational environment for their kids.
